About the role
The Global Education & Content Specialist – Cosmetics will lead the design and deployment of No7BC cosmetics education across the business and be responsible for upskilling our global audiences.
You’ll be an experienced educator with experience in the beauty industry. In this dynamic instructional design role, you’ll report into the Global Education Manager and collaborate closely with teams across the business to create industry-leading learning experiences that improve performance. You’ll bring together your make up skills with cutting edge digital learning strategies, positioning yourself as the go-to education expert for all things beauty advice. Through your work, you’ll continually elevate the quality of our training materials, ensuring a top-notch and inclusive learning experience for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Instructional design and content management
- Design and develop high-quality training content, incorporating best practices in instructional design and adult learning theories.
- Ensure all education initiatives close learning gaps and align to the No7 Beauty Company’s mission, values, and commercial goals.
- Create diverse educational materials including digital learning modules, video tutorials, set-by-step guides, and in-person workshops that cater to varying skill levels, catering to a broad spectrum of capabilities. Leverage digital and social platforms to create immersive and accessible training experiences.
- Maintain and organise all education content and learning materials on a variety of learning platforms, working in collaboration with our Global Communications and Engagement teams.
- Evaluate and refine our learning programs to improve experiences, based on a combination of qualitative and quantitative data to inform decision making.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to ensure the technical accuracy and brand alignment of all education materials.
- Support both virtual and in-person training sessions, assisting regional trainers and educators in delivering content effectively.
- Act as a resource for trainers, providing them with the knowledge and tools needed to deliver impactful and memorable learning experiences. Occasionally lead live demonstrations or facilitate workshops.
What you’ll need to have
- Experience in learning and development practice, with expertise in instructional design or content management.
- Strong background in developing large-scale learning programs for both retail and corporate environments with in-depth knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies.
- Extensive experience in beauty retail and make-up artistry, including hands-on shopfloor experience.
- Proficiency in digital learning, including familiarity with LMS platforms, e-Learning tools, and multimedia content creation.
- Proven experience in skincare and/or cosmetics training.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally for brand events, training, and market visits.
It would be great if you also have
- CIPD Level 3 or above, or equivalent
- Project management skills, with a track-record of successfully delivering complex initiatives.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, content creation tools, and analytics
