Job Title: Electrical Installation Lecturer

Job Type: Hourly Paid

Location: Central West London

Levels: Level 1 – Level 3

Pay: £40 – £45 per hour

Contract: Part time or full time hours available

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Understanding curriculum requirements, and creating syllabi, lesson plans, and educational content that satisfy these requirements.
  2. Analysing the needs, strengths, and weaknesses of students and structuring lessons and assessments around them.
  3. Adjusting teaching methods to suit different groups of learners.
  4. Creating engaging, stimulating lesson plans, and asking frequent questions to make sure students are on track.
  5. Providing extra support to students that require it, and more challenging tasks to those who are ahead of the class.
  6. Keeping abreast of developments and research in the field and using this to ensure lessons are relevant.
  7. Reporting any progress issues to the head of the department, as well as the parents.
  8. Attending meetings, training sessions, workshops, conferences, and other continuing education initiatives.
  9. Supervising lab sessions, delivering practical demonstrations, and accompanying students on field trips.
  10. Keeping the line of communication open between students, staff, and parents.

Skills & Experience:

  1. Right to Work & Enhanced Adult/Child DBS dated within the last 3 months or on the update service.
  2. Teaching Qualification.
  3. Degree in related discipline.
  4. Excellent interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  6. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  7. Strong multitasking skills.
