Territory Sales Manager – Wound Care – East Anglia

Our client is a major player in the Wound Care marketplace, both here in the UK and overseas with a presence in 35 countries and over 11,000 employees worldwide. They are renowned for some of the best in-class products the market has to offer and have exciting growth plans for the next few years. They continually aim to work in partnership with Healthcare Professionals by providing solution led products to meet the clinical needs of patient centred care. Their solutions support their partners to run an efficient and cost effective patient focused service.
They are currently looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Territory Sales Representative to work an area covering East Anglia.
In this role, you will be responsible for their niche Wound Care portfolio and work across community and secondary care markets across the territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide regular systematic coverage of all relevant customers within NHS Trusts, Health boards, ICB areas, across both acute and community healthcare organisations, including the pharmacy market and private healthcare customers.
- Identify key stakeholders and support the Healthcare Partnership Manager and Clinical Partnership Manager, to establish relationships with the budget holders, influencers and key decision makers.
- Work transparently and maintain up to date account and customer records, ensuring forward planning is clearly mapped out in relevant planning tools and the CRM database.
- Be an expert in delivering therapy lead solutions within the clinical area of wound care.
- Be competent in portfolio management and maximise formulary opportunities across the territory.
- Deliver product presentations to specific customer groups supported by clinical evidence.
- Gather intelligence on customer plans, formularies, guidelines and likely implications for sales plans, and signpost accordingly.
Candidate Background Required:
- Ideally have some experience or exposure to the Wound Care marketplace and a track record of success in a medical device sales role.
- Strong planner and possess good business management skills.
- Excellent analytical and commercial understanding.
- Ability to manage a \’business within a business\’.
- \’Pro-active/can-do\’ attitude, passionate about the marketplace.
- Ability to work in partnership with NHS stakeholders at all levels, solution-orientated.
