CIVIL ENGINEER – HIGHWAY / TRAFFIC ENGINEER

DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Civil Engineer – Highway/Traffic Engineering Expert with broad highway engineering design expertise to provide investigation, analysis, reports, and testimony, when technical and scientific answers are needed, to help resolve civil and criminal litigation and insurance claims.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in highway/roadway geometric design, access/egress design, highway/roadway safety features (signing, striping, lighting, guardrail, barriers, clear zones, etc.), intersection design, signal design and maintenance, fieldwork analyses, performing field engineering studies, and incident and claims investigations.

Some experience in highway/roadway maintenance, construction management, construction inspection, materials testing, residential or commercial land development, stormwater systems design, parking lot design, and/or crash investigation/reconstruction is a plus.

NJ, PA, GA, FL, MA

REQUIREMENTS

  1. B.S. in Civil Engineering
  2. P.E. license
  3. 10+ years hands-on experience
  4. DOT experience
  5. Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a comprehensive team
  6. Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills
  7. Willing to travel about 20% on average.
