Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Modern Workplace Engineer to oversee the implementation of Intune and SCCM designs for a Windows 11 installation. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, and maintaining SCCM (MECM) as a platform and ensuring seamless device management through Intune.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the implementation of Intune and SCCM solutions for Windows 11 deployment.
  2. Deploy, manage, and maintain SCCM/MECM as a platform.
  3. Manage and configure Windows devices within Intune, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  4. Work with hybrid Entra and SCCM/Intune co-management to streamline device and security policies.
  5. Configure and manage Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GPO) to support enterprise-wide Windows device management.
  6. Utilize native Microsoft vulnerability management tools to enhance security posture.
  7. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices for endpoint management.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize deployment strategies and troubleshoot technical issues.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  1. Proven experience in deploying, managing, and maintaining SCCM/MECM as a platform.
  2. Strong experience in deploying and managing Windows devices using Intune.
  3. Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management.
  4. Experience with hybrid Entra and SCCM/Intune co-management.
  5. Strong knowledge of Microsoft-native vulnerability management tooling.
  6. SC clearance is required.
  7. Ideally, MD-102 certified (Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate).

Desirable Skills:

  1. Experience with Nessus vulnerability scanning tools.
  2. Knowledge of Nexthink for endpoint analytics and user experience monitoring.

Additional Requirements:

  1. Must be reliable and flexible.
  2. Hours of work will be between 08:00 – 18:00, with an 8-hour working day staggered across the 10-hour timeframe.
  3. Must be willing to do UK based travel for projects.
  4. Must have the right to work in the UK.
  5. Must be able to attain a UK Security Clearance.
