Analytics Engineer

Hybrid – Central London Office

Xcede are delighted to be working with a multi-million-pound tech company who rely on processing the data of millions of customers for their core business and operational decisions. Their pre-existing Data function (full of excellent Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Machine Learning Engineers, etc.) are now looking to add another Analytics Engineer to their department.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside engineering and product teams to ensure application design aligns with reporting and analytics needs.
  • Develop data models within a Snowflake data warehouse.
  • Present data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support various business and engineering teams in building a reliable, scalable, and robust architecture for analytics and ETL pipelines.
  • Drive initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency as the organisation scales.
  • Incorporate new data sources to enhance analytical capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business use cases and translate them into analytical problems for development, testing, and production.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Analytics Engineering (or similar) experience
  • Experience developing and designing SQL data models, along with commercial dbt experience.
  • Experience working with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or equivalent platforms.
  • Expertise in data visualization and BI tools such as PowerBI (preference), Looker, Tableau with a strong ability to convey insights clearly and effectively.
  • Adept at building influential relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, successfully delivering impactful insights to executive teams.
  • Degree in a relevant field is a bonus
  • Self-motivated worker
