Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced DV Cleared Infrastructure Engineer to join our expert team in Reading. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-level infrastructure support and assisting in the delivery of secure IT projects for MOD clients. You’ll work on cutting-edge defence systems, helping to maintain and enhance secure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support across a range of infrastructure services.
- Contribute to the successful planning and implementation of infrastructure projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within secure environments.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams, project managers, and MOD stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and system changes.
- Ensure all systems remain compliant with MOD standards and security protocols.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience supporting and administering Windows Servers and Operating Systems.
- Strong knowledge of VMware Virtualisation technologies including vSphere, vCenter, and NSX.
- Background in Defence or Military environments, with an understanding of secure system requirements.
- Must hold an active DV (Developed Vetting) clearance.
