VANRATH are delighted to be working in partnership with an innovative global manufacturer based in Cookstown to recruit a progressive Senior Group Accountant to take on a key role within the finance team.

About you

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA) with strong commercial experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

What you’ll do:

• Engage regularly with all commercial aspects of the business and provide comprehensive, proactive, and value-added finance support and guidance to other Functions within the business.
• Support the preparation of monthly / annual (consolidated) management accounts for all global entities within the Group.
• Business performance reporting, including costing analysis.
• Assist in compilation of budgets and forecasts: analyse and review expenditure and cashflows.
• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure the group adheres to current accounting technical standards, provision of technical accounting opinions and hands-on approach in resolving accounting queries.
• Ensure on time delivery of finance deliverables.
