If you are passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives and are committed to providing exceptional, person-centred care, we would love to hear from you.   Job Title: Support Worker Location: North Somerset Salary: £12.50 – £37.50 per hour (salary depends on the specific contract and time of day you are working)   Key Responsibilities: As a Support Worker at Aspire Care, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care and support to a diverse range of service users in their own homes. Your role will be varied and rewarding, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with those you care for. Your duties will include: Delivering Person-Centered Care: Provide tailored care and support, taking into account the individual needs and preferences of each service user. Assisting with Personal Care: Help with daily activities such as washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, ensuring that dignity and respect are maintained at all times. Supporting Independence: Encourage service users to remain as independent as possible, helping them to live in their own homes with confidence. Communication & Teamwork: Work closely with other healthcare professionals and service users’ families to ensure effective communication and smooth delivery of care. Training & Development: Make full use of the training provided to update your skills and knowledge, ensuring you are equipped to handle all aspects of care delivery. Ad-hoc Support: Assist with any additional duties as required by the service user or healthcare team, including housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication management. You’ll be working with a variety of clients, helping to promote their well-being and improve their quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.   Skills & Experience Required:   To excel in this role, we are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated to providing high-quality care. You should possess the following skills and experience: Experience: Minimum of 3 months’ experience working in a healthcare setting within the UK, ideally in a similar role. Commitment to Care: A passion for providing person-centered care, with the ability to understand and meet the needs of individuals in a sensitive and respectful manner. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with service users, families, and the healthcare team. Organizational Skills: Ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively to ensure all aspects of care are delivered efficiently and on time. Teamwork: A strong commitment to working within a team, supporting colleagues to provide the highest standard of care. Willingness to Learn: Willing to undertake ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
