We are seeking an insightful, results-oriented Business Analyst to join our Partner Operations Management (POM) organization, supporting the EU POM team. This role is key in assessing the POM team's data needs, addressing longstanding data quality issues, and helping craft a global data experience (DX) roadmap. You will combine technical skills with business insight to manage data quality and develop analytics tools to support the team's goal of becoming a "Partner Success" organization. You will work with BI Engineering and Tech teams to identify and resolve critical data issues, and develop impactful reports and analytics to inform decision-making.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery and quality metrics for EU-based partners.
  • Creating reports that reveal trends and insights.
  • Collaborating with international POM teams to improve data quality.
  • Innovating in how we collect, measure, and analyze KPIs.
  • Advocating for high data quality and analytics standards.
  • Prioritising and executing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working closely with stakeholders across partner operations, publishing operations, program management, product, BIE, and technology teams to create engaging and effective data experiences.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Solve ambiguous problems by identifying root causes and driving to solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain metrics, reports, dashboards, and analyses to support business decisions.
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of Amazon's data resources and their optimal usage.
  • Deep dive into large datasets using SQL, Python, and visualisation tools like Quicksight to answer critical business questions.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to implement new data technologies when needed.
  • Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders to improve partner success strategies worldwide.
  • Manage entire projects or project components from start to finish, including data gathering, modelling, and problem solving.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Several years of experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction and processing.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools like Quicksight.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes, Redshift, and data warehousing.
  • Ability to define requirements and derive insights from data.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex data topics to non-technical stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Supply chain experience.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, both technical and non-technical.
  • Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
  • Experience with data mining and large-scale datasets in a business context.
