Are you a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in the classroom? GSL Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and skilled Secondary Teachers to work in schools across Worksop from Easter Term 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced educators and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to support the academic progress and personal development of secondary students in a supportive school environment.

About the Role:
As a Secondary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in your subject area. You will tailor your teaching to meet the needs of all learners, promote a positive classroom culture, and work closely with colleagues to raise student achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.

  • Differentiate teaching approaches to cater to a range of abilities.

  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.

  • Create a well-structured and inclusive learning environment.

  • Support pupils academic growth and overall wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching at secondary level (GCSE experience preferred).

  • A subject specialism such as English, Maths, Science, Humanities, etc.

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

  • A full 10-year career history, with references covering the last two years including your most recent role.
