MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an Operations Project Engineer to join a dynamic and growing Energy company. Working within the District Heating sector and other associated projects.
As the Operations Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Assist technical teams to set up projects from conception
- Manage budgets and timelines for project delivery
- Manage internal engineers and subcontractors
- Set up procedures and processes for new heat networks as they enter the operational phase
- Proactively manage and build client and customer relationships in day to day running of the sites and attend regular client reporting meetings
- Deliver any specialist services and call out contractors, as well as general supply chain activities
- Identify areas to improve operational performance and energy centre upgrades
- Responsible for operational budgets and reporting using business KPIs
- Offer new customers support with technical, operational and pricing input
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- A technical qualification within an engineering discipline
- Proven experience in the operation of large projects within district heating, CHP, Biomass boilers, energy centres, gas boilers etc
- Have a good understanding of BMS/SCADA systems and/or energy software programming
- Recommended NEBOSH, IOSH or similar
- Willing to travel to sites regularly
