Become part of our amazing operational branch team as a Branch Manager and help us maintain our place as the Nation’s leading Tool hire business.
As the Branch Manager you’ll be responsible for overall performance including full P&L, health and safety and compliance coupled with developing and maintaining a highly engaged and motivated team. This role is key in the overall performance of the wider region and as such is key to the future success of it.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the branch P&L achieving or exceeding monthly revenue budget
- Lead, motivate & manage the team through developing, coaching and providing timely feedback
- Safeguard the branch by ensuring and meeting all compliance standards
- Work in tandem with the sales team to optimise our chances of increased revenues
- Taking control of costs, including depreciation, transport and agency costs
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are managed effectively
- Full responsibility for branch stock checks
- Ensure all assets are kept in working order to meet customers’ needs
- Foster an environment of good communication within your region and the wider business
What We’re Looking For
- Experience of working in a leadership role (Ideally in a branch setting)
- Understanding and experience of managing full P&L
- Exceptional communication skills
- Effectively manage change and be flexible
- Capable of building strong relationships
- Positive role model and strong motivator
- Ability to cope under pressure in a high volume environment & multitask
- Excellent administration skills – able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Experience of the tool hire industry – Desirable
- Knowledge of small tools and plant – Desirable
- Experience of delivering performance management – Desirable
- A Full UK Driving Licence is essential
