Air Export Operator

Are you an experienced Air Export Operator looking for a new challenge in Manchester? Our client, a leading freight forwarder, is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join their busy team.

The Role:

As an Air Export Operator you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end air import process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Handling air export shipments from start to finish.
• Liaising with airlines, overseas agents, and customers.
• Preparing and processing all necessary documentation (AWBs, customs entries, delivery orders).
• Arranging collections and deliveries.
• Monitoring shipment progress and providing updates to clients.
• Resolving any operational issues efficiently.
• Ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company procedures.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as an Air Export Operator within a freight forwarding environment.
• Strong knowledge of air freight procedures and customs regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in relevant industry software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
