We’re hiring an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to support commercial FM contracts across the South West. This mobile role covers a portfolio of commercial sites across Yeovil, Taunton, Salisbury, Gillingham, and Bournemouth, with Yeovil being the ideal home base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, servicing, and fault diagnosis on a range of air conditioning systems
- Work on various AC systems including split units, VRVs/VRFs, and DX cooling
- Reactive breakdown response and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Ensuring compliance with site-specific health & safety procedures
- Occasional assistance with general building services tasks
Requirements:
- FGAS (Category 1) certification – essential
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience working on commercial AC systems
- NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning or equivalent – desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Good fault-finding and maintenance skills
- Excellent communication and customer service approach
