EA/Office Manager (Fixed term 12 month Contract)
We are a dynamic UK-based technology company that is fundamentally changing the way international logistics operates. We are searching for an Office Manager who is excited by the prospect of working at the bleeding edge of high tech in a rapidly growing scale-up. We’ve recently raised our Series A round from leading US investor Bessemer Venture Partners (LinkedIn, Twilio, Shopify), alongside Episode 1 (Zoopla, Betfair, Shazam) and supply chain-focused fund Dynamo Ventures (Sennder, Stord).
The day-to-day:
- Ongoing 1-1 support for the Senior Leadership Team including CEO and CTO (UK & US)
- Ongoing ad hoc support to People team
- Booking, arranging and attending company-wide events
- Coordinating and greeting company visitors
- Keeping the office and kitchen organised and stocked with supplies
- Coordinating meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes
- Booking travel and external events
- Assisting the finance team with day-to-day activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable and vendor management
- Assisting the People team with operational tasks
- Supporting with ISO and office health and safety
Requirements:
- A self-starter with a ‘builder’ mentality that flourishes in an ever-growing startup environment
- Experience organising and coordinating events
- Experience managing an office environment
- Experience supporting executives at a growth-stage start up with general secretarial and administrative needs
- A highly organised and detail-oriented working style
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate enthusiasm, integrity and discretion
- Ideally you’ll have experience using Google Workspace, Notion and Slack
- A strong communicator, negotiator, influencer
