Our client in Redditch is looking for expand their Accounts team by recruiting an Accounts Assistant to specialise in all accounts tasks related to subcontractors. You will be responsible for performing daily transactions, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable and CIS processing.Accounts Assistant key day to day duties:- Processing subcontractor invoices and resolve and related queries Processing CIS payments and updating relevant systems Processing and maintaining the subcontractor ledger – ensuring payments are up to date and liaising with other departments Overseeing purchase ledger from start to finish Provide necessary information to Senior Management The successful Accounts Administrator will have the following skills and experience:-Accounting qualification is desirable Level 2 AAT but not essentialProficient with MS office software ( word / excel)Experience processing Sub contractor invoices is essentialProven experience in an accounts generalist role within construction or groundwork and relevant experience with subcontractingKnowledge of domestic VAT reverse chargeCIS knowledgeGDPR competentWe are looking for someone who can multi task and b able to demonstrate methodical attention to detail skills.
