Technical Sales Consultant – Cayman Islands Relcoation Opportunity – Attractive TAX FREE salary, relocation allowance Are you a driven sales professional seeking a role that leverages your expertise and passion for building long-term client relationships? We are looking for a Technical Sales Consultant to spearhead business development efforts, manage long-term client relationships, and contribute to our continued growth. As a Sales Consultant, you will manage a portfolio of both new and existing clients, focusing on a 1-6 month sales cycle and large project values ranging from $15k to $250k. You'll thrive in this role if you have a background in the Security Industry and can demonstrate success in high-pressure environments while balancing both new business development and client relationship management. What You'll Do: * Hunt and farm: Actively seek out new business opportunities while nurturing current customers to maintain and grow long-term partnerships. * Manage full sales cycle: Oversee the entire sales process from initial lead generation to closing, managing sales cycles of 1 to 12 months, primarily in the security systems industry. * Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and marketing to create compelling proposals and ensure project success. * Develop bids: Sell security solutions through estimating and bidding on new construction, remodels, retrofits, and continued care services. * Industry networking: Establish relationships with CIOs, IT Directors, electrical engineering firms, and electrical contractors to stay informed on industry projects. * High-value project management: Handle projects in the $15k – $250k range, ensuring a smooth handoff to project management teams. Who You Are: * Sales hunter mentality: You are driven by a strong desire to generate new business, with a focus on longer-term sales cycles. You're a go-getter who thrives on building trust and relationships. * Relationship builder: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, such as CIOs, IT Directors, Operations Directors, and Maintenance Directors. * Entrepreneurial spirit: You possess an entrepreneurial drive and initiative, willing to navigate the challenges of a longer sales cycle and manage complex projects. * Technical acumen: Comfortable with software like Excel, Word, and Visio to create and present compelling business proposals. What You Bring: * Proven sales track record: Experience managing a sales pipeline of 1-12 months and successfully closing large deals. * Security Industry knowledge: Knowledge of the Security solutions industry is necessary, as it will allow you to build relationships faster. * Education: Associate's degree or higher preferred. Relevant sales experience may substitute for formal education. * Experience in estimating: Ability to develop and present competitive bids. * Driver's License required: Must be willing to travel locally to meet clients and manage the sales territory. * Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally with clients and partners. * Drive to succeed: Willingness to fail and learn from mistakes while maintaining a strong focus on financial success
