Security Officer - Term time only

To ensure the security and safety of Premises, property, staff and visitors, including the observance and adherence to fire precautions., * Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment

• Unlocking and Locking the premises

• Access control

• Cover security desk

• Deal with contractors Issue and manages passes

• Protect property and assets by implementing security measures and protocols

• Respond to emergencies, such as medical incidents or fire alarms, and take appropriate action

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns

• Proven work experience as a Security Officer or similar role

• Knowledge of security operations and procedures

• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently

• Strong observation skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• First Aid/CPR certification is a plus

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:You are able to communicate clearly and effectively, attaining a good standard of verbal and written English. You are capable of dealing with a variety of situations. You have good organisational and record-keeping skills. Does not require initial Security experience as we are able to train., * You must have a current SIA Door Supervisor Licence.

• A CCTV Operator Licence is desirable.

• Possession of a First Aid at Work Certificate and/or Fire Marshal is desirable.
