Chroma are currently recruiting for a Head of Infrastructure to join a growing international retailer.

This role offers a competitive salary of up to £95K + bonus, with hybrid working (3 days a week in their Manchester office) , and an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the company’s digital transformation! This is a build-and-create role.

The company is a well-known retailer with hundreds of shops across the UK, France and the USA. They have built a strong reputation over the years, and they are currently evolving from a traditional retailer into a customer-centric, digitally driven business. As the Head of Infrastructure , you will lead a small team of Infrastructure Managers, Engineers and a Security Manager, balancing hands-on technical work with strategic leadership. You’ll have the autonomy to drive innovation, ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of the IT environment. Working with technologies like Azure, Palo Alto and Mimecast, you’ll play a key role in their cloud-first transformation.

Responsibilities

Experience leading and managing high-performing technical teams
Extensive hands-on expertise with Azure IaaS & PaaS, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory, with general firewall experience
Proven track record in overseeing enterprise-scale projects and driving large-scale infrastructure transformations
Retail industry experience
