Job Description
At KFH we are looking for a Head of Lettings Property Management based at our Head Office in Wimbledon.
With 14,000 active tenancies across London and over 30% managed by KFH, we’re seeking someone that has experience and success in leading large property management teams and building and maintaining relationships with key clients. In this role you will regularly present to our Senior Management Team, therefore experience in creating strategies for development and the ability to respond quickly and strategically to changes in legislation is key. At KFH we are continuously looking for opportunities to improve, and are looking for a Head of department to bring new inspirational thinking whilst embracing our legacy.
You will report into our Group Director of Property Management.
Responsibilities of a Head of Lettings Property Management include:
- Setting and reviewing targets whilst motivating and inspiring the team
- Overseeing the onboarding of acquired businesses’ people and portfolios into existing operation
- Regularly review operational statistics and data to identify trends and needs
- Collaborate with the senior management team to agree and deliver operational strategies, ensuring the decisions and procedures are upheld.
- Ensure our managed portfolio is compliant to relevant legislation and KFH covenants in Terms of Business and Tenancy Agreements are adhered to.
- Set and maintain high departmental standards
- Directly manage an Operational Management team, who will communicate and implement directions across the department
- Handle escalated complaints working with The Property Ombudsmen where necessary
- Collaborate with the HR, Talent Acquisition and Talent Development teams to help ensure your team are well-supported and continuously developing their skills
