Job Description – UK Visas Compliance Manager
Vira International Ltd has a wide range of client companies, and specialises in recruiting experienced and qualified chefs whilst also providing immigration advice and services to a large clientele both within, the hospitality sector as well as other UK businesses.
We have several consultants regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA, previously OISC). We act as representatives and manage the sponsor management system (SMS) for over 650 UK companies.
We are growing rapidly and require a Compliance Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Examines operating procedures to ensure the processes meet regulatory standards by IAA and implements changes necessary to ensure compliance.
- Considers the impact of new immigration rules upon existing cases;
- Review case files.
- Perform HR audits with clients for UKVI sponsor license compliance, both random as well as planned as required.
- Stay up-to-date with current immigration regulations and policies so that appropriate advice is imparted and measures are taken to ensure compliance with all Sponsors;
- Advise, educate and train clients on compliance for UKVI compliance visits
- Oversee all aspects of the Visa and Immigration Services ensuring all operate smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
- Meet clients to determine client eligibility
- Manage teams responsible for attracting new applicants ensuring all necessary employee checks are done pre-interview and employment.
- Ensure correct recruitment practices are being followed.
- Supervise the completion of all relevant visa and immigration documents and ensure that they are received within the time limit
- Review and ensure that all the information provided by clients is accurate and correct for preparing and checking all legal documents
- Ensure teams are communicating and relaying well-articulated information.
