We’re working with a highly reputable business based on the outskirts of Manchester who are currently seeking an experienced Signage Production Manager with a keen eye for detail and an uncompromising approach to quality. In this key leadership role, you will report directly to the MD and oversee production and installation, ensuring every project meets the highest standards before leaving the facility. You will have the final input on all projects leaving the workshop and be responsible for upholding a reputation for pure excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the production and installation teams, ensuring efficient workflow from manufacturing to final install.
  2. Enforce strict quality control, ensuring all products meet exacting standards before dispatch.
  3. Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  4. Train and mentor the team to maintain high skill levels and consistent quality output.
  5. Oversee raw material purchasing and supplier relationships to improve efficiency and profitability.
  6. Collaborate across departments to communicate production schedules, status updates, and lead times.
  7. Ensure health & safety compliance in both production and installation.
  8. Research and implement new methods, machinery, and processes to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

The Person:

  1. Proven experience in signage production management with knowledge of the full cycle of hard signage and graphics production.
  2. Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.
  3. Leadership and team management skills to drive performance and efficiency.
  4. Experience with Clarity CRM (preferred but not essential).
  5. Knowledge of working to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards highly desirable.
  6. Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
  7. Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines without compromising on standards.

Benefits:
A competitive salary of up to a maximum of £50,000 is on offer for this hire, based on experience, plus other benefits including holidays and pension.
