The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

The operations team is a core part of the Auction business, made up of various functions Yard team, Inspections, VCP and Imaging. Team members are responsible for ensuring all processes within their department run efficiently, and support the smooth operation of the day-to-day function. Ensuring sales are delivered successfully and operational and customer service excellences are met at all times.

Scope of Role:
To consistently provide efficient and effective vehicle inspection products and services to Manheim’s customers. All Manheim vehicle inspectors are responsible for consistently achieving quality and quantity outputs in line with our SLA’s and branch targets.

Objectives for Role:

  1. Accurately inspect cars and commercial vehicles to Manheim Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and BVRLA fair wear and tear policy to provide accurate and detailed reports for use in the auction process and by customers.
  2. Accurately complete combined Assured and relevant Scheme Inspection in line with predefined process and procedure and quality standards.
  3. Supporting the yard team with ongoing process and movement of inspected vehicles, to ensure the efficient and effective flow of vehicles around the site.
  4. To take high quality photos of the vehicles, ensuring images and inspection standards are in line with current SOP.
  5. Ensuring that the on site process for key storage is followed to ensure that keys can be tracked and traced.
  6. Interaction with customers as appropriate, to give information regarding inspections as and when required to demonstrate expertise and value of the product and service.
  7. Synchronise and download vehicle information to support inter departmental process in a timely manner.
  8. Prioritise workload and take proactive steps to ensure achievement of appraisal quality and quantity performance targets.
  9. Carry out amended process for voluntary termination vehicles where relevant.
