We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead our team of Mechanical technicians and manual staff, as well as manage contract labor.
We are looking for a candidate that can:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the engineering team, ensuring effective maintenance and improvement of building services.

Manage both in-house staff and contract labor, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Plan and schedule maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion while adhering to safety standards and regulations.
-
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
-
Oversee the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and best practices.
-
Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
-
Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment status, and inventory levels.
-
Collaborate with other departments to align engineering efforts with organizational goals.

Report on team performance, project progress, and any challenges faced to senior management.

Appropriate qualifications to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and Ordinary or Higher National Certificate qualifications (or be willing to work towards achieving the ONC/HNC level) in an electrical, mechanical or construction related discipline and having substantial vocational experience.

An established track record and experience in an engineering discipline

Strong understanding of building services systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience of working with CAFM for planned and reactive maintenance activities.

Experience of electronic finance systems
