We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bromley to assist with the appointment of a Compliance Manager on an 8-month contract , likely to be extended at the client’s discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Summary:
The Compliance Manager will take the lead in all matters related to auditing and ensuring that LBB-managed properties remain fully compliant with statutory and approved codes of practice. The role provides specialist compliance advice to the authority, departments, and satellite sites while delivering management reports as required. The successful candidate will also manage the compliance team, consultants, and specialist contractors while collaborating with other Facilities Management (FM) divisions, including maintenance and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust reporting and monitoring strategy to maintain compliance and set standards across all operational buildings within LBB’s portfolio.
- Set, monitor, and report Facilities compliance performance in line with statutory requirements across the borough, including leased buildings where applicable.
- Maintain a comprehensive facilities information system to demonstrate compliance using LBB’s CAFM or other systems.
- Establish and manage a system for monitoring legislative updates related to compliance and ensure regular briefings are provided to FM team members.
- Conduct audits to identify compliance gaps, report findings, and implement timely remedial actions to address non-compliance. Escalate significant issues to the Head of Facilities Management.
- Collaborate with various FM divisions and other LBB departments to ensure compliance is effectively integrated into overall facilities management.
Qualifications:
- IOSH or NEBOSH certification (or currently studying for one).
- Commitment to ongoing CPD training in compliance and health & safety.
