New Gorbals Housing Association is a dynamic community-controlled organisation. We own and manage 2,500 homes for rent and factor 1,900 owners’ homes. We are committed to the sustained physical, social and economic regeneration of Gorbals.
We are looking to fill the following post (35 hours per week):
Area Maintenance Manager (AMM)
The Area Maintenance Manager (AMM) is responsible for ensuring that the Association provides an effective and efficient maintenance and repairs service, mostly provided by an in-house trades team, and asset management function, all of which meet legal requirements and comply with good practice and Association Policy.
The AMM is responsible for the day-to-day management of the repairs and maintenance service provided by the Association to its tenants, sharing owners, owner occupiers and others.
For the above post, you will be computer literate, with a commitment to community control and a desire to achieve continuous improvement in the delivery of services to tenants and other users. You will also enjoy working in a team and possess the ability to work flexibly with minimum supervision.
