About the company
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a client who is creating exceptional cars that blend British elegance with ferocious intelligence to forge a new legacy, forever. They are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer on their body structures to join their team on a long-term rolling contract.
Working Hours: 42 hours per week
Contract Duration: 6 month rolling
As Senior Engineer – Body Structures, your main responsibilities are:
- Project Engineer
- Large Scale Mega Castings – Experience
- Concept / Package
- 5turn on and spin / review Catia V5 design experience
- Body structures/ Body (BIW / Panels)
- Aluminium castings/ Aluminium extrusions
- A positive, proactive and flexible mindset
- Basic mechanical, material, and production knowledge
- Good level of technical capability
- Familiarity with body structure construction methods and materials, including metals and plastics
- Awareness of component manufacturing techniques: casting, pressing, extrusion, joining, and fastening methods
- Experience in delivery of engineering releases
