With Acorn seeing another year of growth, our talented IT team are seeking a talented Senior React Native Developer to join our well established and innovative team. The ideal candidate for this position would have experience in developing high performance mobile applications across IOS and Android platforms using React Native.
You will get the chance to be a part of exciting projects where you can create seamless user experiences, implement secure authentication systems, and ensure app performance and scalability, all whilst working within a dynamic and cross functional team.
Job Title: Senior React Native Developer
Location: Liverpool – Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm
What you will be doing:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable mobile applications using React Native.
- Build applications that work seamlessly across iOS and Android platforms.
- Implement secure authentication and authorisation mechanisms using OAuth and JWT tokens.
- Optimise mobile applications for maximum speed, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Integrate third-party native modules and libraries as required to extend application functionality.
- Work with internal and external APIs to enable seamless application functionality.
- Integrate Google Maps and geolocation services to enhance application features.
- Design and implement visually appealing and intuitive dashboards for data representation.
- Use libraries and tools to create interactive and insightful data visualisations.
- Use tools like Sentry and React Native Debugger for error tracking and performance monitoring.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mobile development with at least 3 years using React Native.
- Experience with state management libraries like Redux or MobX.
- Strong understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns.
- Familiarity with native build tools like Xcode and Android Studio.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Proficient in working with authentication mechanisms using OAuth and JWT tokens.
- Experience with integrating Google Maps and geolocation services.
