Base pay range
You will oversee the safe and timely deployment of IT changes, working closely with cross-functional teams such as IT, PMO, Change Management, and Technical Support. You will manage the entire software/hardware release life cycle, ensuring deployments are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with governance and quality standards. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing risks, maintaining live service integrity, and continuously improving release management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the release life cycle, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Oversee the end-to-end deployment process, ensuring adherence to governance and quality standards.
- Identify and implement improvements to release management processes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define release scope and ensure appropriate resourcing.
- Ensure that releases meet technical, control, quality, and customer requirements.
- Lead post-implementation reviews and ensure continuous process improvements.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in release and deployment management, delivering on time and within budget.
- Strong background in software testing and testing management methodologies (e.g., ISEB).
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile) and service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Experience working with cross-functional technical teams and managing senior stakeholders.
