Founded over 30 years ago, Sir Cameron Mackintosh’s Delfont Mackintosh Theatres Ltd owns and operates eight of the most prestigious theatres in London’s West End: the Gielgud, Noël Coward, Novello, Sondheim, Prince Edward, Prince of Wales, Victoria Palace, and Wyndham’s.
As the Facilities Manager, you will report to the Head of Engineering and Facilities and will plan, manage, and deliver the required service to ensure all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) assets and infrastructure across the group’s portfolio are compliant, safe, and operational.
Your responsibilities include the delivery of all FM-related services, including decorating, and all hard FM periodic servicing contracts which are the responsibility of the Property Team, including EICR testing and remedial works across the DMT portfolio. This unique position, based in Mackintosh House on Shaftesbury Avenue, involves collaboration with teams across all the theatres in the West End.
Situated in the heart of theatre land, your new office will offer a vibrant environment. Managing a small in-house team and collaborating closely with the outsourced responsive maintenance team, you will also support the Head of Engineering & Facilities on various projects.
Your experience and supervision will ensure all MEP-related works carried out are compliant, within the relevant contract specification, and to the client’s satisfaction. A background in Facilities Management with a proven track record of delivering a first-class service in a fast-paced environment is essential for this role.
