Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their busy team on an interim basis.

Duties include:

  1. Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payroll runs on a monthly basis.
  2. Process regular wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other pay adjustments.
  3. Compliance and Reporting:
    Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
    Generate and reconcile payroll reports, and provide ad-hoc reporting to management and other stakeholders.
  4. System Management:
    Configure and maintain payroll settings in Oracle Cloud.
    Implement system updates and improvements to enhance payroll processing efficiency.
  5. Data Management:
    Maintain accurate employee payroll data, including new hires, terminations, and salary changes.
    Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all payroll transactions.
  6. Employee Support:
    Act as a point of contact for employee payroll enquiries and resolve any issues related to payroll.
    Assist employees with online changes to tax withholdings and direct deposit information.
  7. Collaboration:
    Work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing.
    Participate in special projects, such as system upgrades or payroll process improvements.
  8. Audits and Reconciliation:
    Coordinate and support payroll-related audits.
    Reconcile payroll discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.

What you need:
You will have extensive payroll experience, as well as working on an implementation of a new system previously.
You will have experience of using Oracle payroll system.
You will be available immediately to start a new role.
