More specifically, this is an opportunity to develop performant and scalable SPAs for our many brokerage platforms. You will collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, and our design team to deliver brokerage web app applications to our diverse client base of over 2 million users.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work on brokerage projects as an Engineer at interactiveadvisors.com (Central London, UK).
- Design and build scalable web applications within the VueJs ecosystem (VueJs, Vuex, Pinia, Vite, Cypress, webpack).
- Own and build high-traffic applications with a focus on speed and user experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ideate, plan, and organize large-scale projects.
- Contribute to our company-wide Vue UI Component Library.
- Set direction and partner with other front-end engineers to implement new technologies.
- Work with a team of intelligent, intense and fast-moving co-workers.
Experience:
- 3+ years of commercial software development experience with an emphasis on single-page web app development.
- Experience integrating APIs.
- Web testing and troubleshooting skills – you know the web developer tools.
- Evidence of unconventional thinking that shows you have worked smarter, not just harder.
- Excellent organizational, communication and soft skills.
- A strong academic record, a graduate in a science or technology subject, post-graduate is a plus.
