Lead Mechanical Operator - £2000 Welcome Bonus

We are seeking a Lead Mechanical Operator for our Mars Wrigley factory in Slough. This role is ideal for mechanically minded individuals who have a passion for maintenance, with experience in maintaining ships, cars, tanks, lifts, generators, or similar mechanical industries.

Salary: From £40,000 - £48,000 (inclusive of shift allowance) dependant on experience

Performance related company bonus

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off pattern (2 day, 2 nights, 4 off) 12 hour shifts

What are we looking for?

• Mechanical tinkering mindset, always looking to improve machinery!
• Hands-on experience of mechanical maintenance from various environments.
• Mechanically minded and able to disassemble, fault find and assemble machinery.
• Minimum 1 years' experience managing and coordinating operators.
• Ideally hold an NVQ or apprenticeship within Mechanical Engineering, however this is not a must.
• Educated to GCSE level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and repair mechanical breakdowns on various machinery.
• Accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, or pieces of equipment.
• Coordinate a small team of operators and temporary associates to achieve line targets.
• Assist operators with daily production tasks to ensure line targets are met.
