The Role
Location: flexible with regular travel to Bristol, 12-month FTC
This is an exciting opportunity for a People (HR) Partner to join us in this customer-facing role for an initial 12-month contract. The People Partner will be responsible for supporting employees and People Leaders with all areas of the employee lifecycle such as employee relations advice, local reward and compensation, annual employee lifecycle events as well as other global ad-hoc projects.
As our People Partner you will join an inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees.
Principal Accountabilities
- Provides Employee Relations advice, guidance and case management
- Providing advice and guidance to people leaders on resourcing activity, including local job evaluation and grading, and coaching on interviewing where needed
- Supports cyclical activities across the employee lifecycle e.g. talent and succession planning at local levels
- Manages local reward, compensation, and job evaluation
- Providing tactical support to organisational changes
- Ensuring compliance with local legislation and promoting best practice
- Acting as an advocate for the wider People & Culture function and collaborating with other teams internally
Skills and Experience Required
- Demonstrable experience within a HR partnering role in a fast-paced environment
- Up-to-date knowledge of current UK employment law and legislation
- Experienced in ER case management
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A collaborative approach to working with others
- Interest in new technology and process improvement
