We are due to commence work on a large industrial project in Romsey in January 20205 and we are looking for a number of steel fixers. Any applicants must have heavy industrial experience and hold a valid Blue CSCS card. This is a temporary position for around 4 months and is based on 45 hours per week.
As a Steel Fixer your duties will involve.

Position and secure steel reinforcement bars or reinforcement steel mesh to reinforce concrete structures.

Read and interpret reinforcement plans/drawings and reinforcement schedules.

Set out the work from provided instructions.

Cut and bend steel bars or mesh to the required length/shape using bolt cutters, guillotines, or power saws.
