Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant

Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are seeking an enthusiastic and committed EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful Primary School on the outskirts of Weston-Super-Mare.

The Role

The successful candidate will work full-time in their EYFS class.

The Head Teacher is looking for someone with prior knowledge or experience working in a Primary School or Nursery setting. You should bring a nurturing and calm environment to ensure children feel safe.

You will be expected to:

Use your initiative to adapt activities to meet children\’s needs.
Maintain high expectations for student success.
Possess Phonics knowledge.
Create a safe learning environment for pupils to learn at their own pace.
Support and manage the needs of children.
Be adaptable with learning opportunities.
