As a key member of the Operational Risk team, you will own business partnering relationships with senior stakeholders, be responsible for the Operational Risk framework, and lead reporting to legal entity committees.

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Define and implement a comprehensive Operational Risk Strategy for the UK and Europe. Deliver the annual Operational Risk plan and the activities of the Risk Management function, including thematic reviews on key risk issues.
- Maintain a clear Operational Risk appetite framework for the UK and Europe. Ensure risk appetites are considered and embedded in decision making.
- Maintain the Operational Risk identification and assessment process, ensuring the RM function and management have a clear and continuous view of the risk exposure of the organization.
- Lead production/review of all regular and ad hoc Operational Risk reporting from the RM function, including to the Risk Management Committee, Board, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
- Experience of Operational Risk, internal controls, and incident reporting.
- Experience of key regulatory areas e.g. Operational Resilience, DORA, and Third Parties is desirable.
- General Insurance experience is desirable.
