Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled qualified Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. You will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and hygiene, performing preventative dental procedures, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional patient care. The hours are Mondays and Wednesdays, 0645 – 1545., * Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients’ oral health.

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.

• Assist in the identification of periodontal disease and other oral health issues.

• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments performed and patient interactions.

• Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, particularly related to oral health.

• Familiarity with medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnostics is beneficial.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with the dental team.

• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage patient records accurately., * Dental Hygienist: 1 year (preferred)
