As the Business Development Project Manager, you’ll support a wide variety of projects related to exchange/broker technology upgrades, internal business and technology changes, and a broad range of high priority new business initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with external business partners to understand the nature and scope of upcoming upgrades, and to manage associated projects through to completion.
- Act as the glue between exchanges/brokers and internal Jump teams to ensure all technology upgrades/changes are successfully managed and delivered on time.
- Partner closely with internal teams (Development, Trade Desk, Networking, Risk, Clearing, Legal, Compliance) to initiate, track and report project progress with a key emphasis on the software/hardware elements required to complete the project.
- Lead internal Business Development project meetings to ensure multiple teams collaborate to pull a project across the finish line.
- Lead internal change control meetings to discuss technology upgrades, timelines, and the impact on Jump’s business.
- Coordinate weekend testing efforts across internal teams (Development, Trade Desk, Networking) in support of exchange/broker technology upgrades/changes.
- Continually improve existing processes to drive efficiency and reduced time to market; challenge yourself to uncover these opportunities.
- Communicate extensively both internally and externally in the form of project agendas, detailed notes, action items and status updates to support intra/inter-regional awareness and successful project delivery.
- Support existing efforts to develop quantitative business intelligence.

Skills You’ll Need:
- Degree in Business/Finance/Computer Science with high academic achievements.
- Strong interest in financial markets and technology.
- Proficient programming skills in Python desirable.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience, ideally in an operational/technology project management role in a relevant organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects in parallel through to successful completion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; an ability to communicate both technical and business content effectively.
- Extremely organised, strong attention to detail, an ability to get things done.
- Desire to develop technical skillset, including the use of in-house software and tools.
- Reliable and predictable availability.
