Job Description
Taylor Root is pleased to have partnered with an internationally recognized technology company to help them recruit a Group ESG and Compliance Manager.
This internationally recognized technology company has experienced significant growth in the past five years, including several high-profile acquisitions.
Reporting to the Group Head of Legal, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the Company’s global ESG and Compliance functions.
Specifically, you will be tasked with developing and operationalizing the Company’s environmental reporting and disclosure obligations, including CSRD, CDP, Ecovadis, and ESOS. In addition to this, you will also advise on the businesses’ ABC, code of conduct, and regulatory compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, or relevant field
- Experience with environmental laws, regulations, and best practices, particularly in the EU and UK
- Experience overseeing, managing, or supporting a global ESG program (but not necessarily required)
- Experience overseeing, managing, or supporting a corporate compliance program (but not necessarily required)
- Ability to work collaboratively with various internal stakeholders and partners to drive the Company’s Compliance and ESG programs forward (required)
- Proactive, practical, hands-on, and data-driven approach to areas of responsibility, and ability to work independently
