This opportunity is not one to be missed! Key Responsibilities as a maintenance engineer: Perform preventive maintenance on all operational equipment and facilities. Maintain accurate maintenance records using the MP2 maintenance program. Troubleshoot and repair operational equipment on a daily basis. Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and prevent breakdowns. Respond promptly to significant breakdowns and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences. Train personnel in the correct and safe operation of various machines. Prioritise tasks to maintain assembly buffers effectively.The ideal maintenance engineer will have: Minimum City & Guilds level 3 mechanical/electrical engineering (preferably apprentice trained) Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate a customer-oriented personality and approach. Have experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. Exhibit strong diligence, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and potential hazards are identified. Have a basic understanding of electrical, pneumatics, and other systems. Show willingness and flexibility to work overtime. Be open to occasional travel.  Hours of work will be 7.30am-4pm Monday to Friday.
