ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
Seeking a Process Engineer with a firm knowledge of industrial, manufacturing, or aerospace engineering. The Process Engineer will be responsible for handling product/process development projects from inception through first article approval utilizing standard manufacturing processes as well as rapid prototype technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and refine written processes and SOPs to optimize production efficiency and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Identify and implement best practices to improve workflows and enhance product quality.
- Provide technical support and collaborate with various departments to resolve production challenges.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations within the production environment.
- Conduct quality assurance checks, root-cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to meet quality standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Support new product development by designing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes.
- Manage and execute projects to improve production capabilities, reduce costs, and enhance performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of process changes and report progress to the Management Team.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and support a balanced work-life environment for employees.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- DS/SX – Direct Solidification and Single Crystal OR Equiax Casting experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical, industrial, materials science engineering along with investment casting technology.
- Solid understanding of ceramic materials, their properties, and behavior in high-temperature environments.
- Familiarity with quality standards and specifications in the aerospace industry, such as AS9100 or NADCAP.
- Process Control methodologies and familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a concentration on metallurgical or similar degree.
