Restaurants Manager
The Groucho Club is looking for an experienced Restaurants Manager to oversee our restaurants. Our next Restaurants Manager needs to have proactive energy, a positive can-do attitude and friendly personality alongside all the other skills that make you a top employee. Why is this so important? Responsibilities
- Delivering premium hospitality, ensuring that all members’ expectations are met through an exceptional customer service experience.
- Manage the floor staff to deliver consistently exceptional customer service.
- Excellent organisation and management skills.
- Proactively plan ahead and prepare for upcoming events or obstacles.
- Be immaculate in presentation as the role includes communication with clients, members and staff on a daily basis.
- Possess the ability to train and motivate your team to ensure consistency throughout and to maintain the level of service required.
- Passionate, forward thinking and have the ability to manage time effectively.
- Upholding the Club’s high standards.
- Interacting and building relationships with our members.
- Ensuring the F&B service runs smoothly and optimising capacity.
- Delivering food and beverage.
- Clearing in and resetting the restaurants.
- Overseeing hosting and delivering Club events and dinners.
- Steer ancillary revenues by recommending our other products to our guests
- Reception duties including greeting members and assigning to tables.
Skills
- Have at least 3-5 years’ experience working as Restaurant Assistant Manager or Restaurant Supervisor/Head Waiter.
- Must have an outgoing, confident and bubbly personality.
- Be smart and well presented at all times.
- Must have a good understanding on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Must have the ability to maintain professional self-control when dealing with uncommon and challenging circumstances.
- You must have exceptional communication skills.
- You should be focussed on delivering excellent customer service to our employees and our members.
- You must have the ability to interact successfully at several social levels and across diverse values.
- Proficiency to carry out multiple assignments concurrently is desired.
- Capability to adapt to changes in the environment is desired.
