Lloyds British has a segregated National Contracts division that is an independent, impartial and confidential Type ‘C’ inspection body, accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS) to BS EN ISO.
Regular Thorough Examinations and Inspections are key to achieving statutory compliance.

As our Pressure Vessel Engineer , you would be competent and carry out inspection, adjustment and maintenance of mechanical equipment. As a Pressure Vessel Engineer, you will compile a comprehensive report and discuss with the customer any aspects which should be brought to their attention. An experienced Pressure Vessel Engineer should be aware of and able to discuss with the customer all aspects/product groups of Lloyds British. A Lloyds British Engineer will carry out fault finding procedures, recognize defective items, and perform necessary repairs effectively to restore the equipment to a safe working condition. You will be part of a very exciting time for Lloyds British, being the front runners for Lifting, Crane, and Pressure Engineering. What you’ll need:

  1. Mechanical Engineering Qualification minimum of HNC
  2. Experience working with Pressure Vessel systems
  3. Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  4. Excellent communication skills
  5. Computer literate in order to produce reports following inspections
