Civil Engineer

Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.

Package: £37,860 – £56,800 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience)

Role Overview: AWE is currently recruiting for a Civil Engineer within our Capital Engineering function. This role will give you the opportunity to contribute towards building and applying extensive domain and technical knowledge for design intent, as-built drawings, and performance through life for engineered structures. You will interpret and deliver requirements of projects and make evidence-based decisions to solve technical problems.

Who are we looking for?

We do need you to have the following:

1. Minimum HNC (L4 NVQ)
2. Understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation, ACOP, and Industry standards
3. Experience within regulated industries such as nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceutical

Important Information: You will need to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. AWE will fund this. The nature of our work does mean you need to be a British citizen who has been in the UK for the past 5 years in order to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.
