Job Description
Practice Accountant – Croydon
TPF Recruitment is partnering with an excellent firm to find an experienced Accountant for their growing team in Croydon.
This is a great opportunity to manage a client portfolio, focusing on management accounts and driving client growth. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high service levels, preparing financial reports, mentoring junior staff, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of Xero clients, ensuring excellent service and client satisfaction
- Prepare management accounts in Xero and Fathom
- Review statutory accounts and assist with forecasting, billing, and debt collection
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvements within the team
- Identify client portfolio growth opportunities and support business development
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a UK based accountancy practice
- ACA/ACCA qualified (preferred) but open to part-qualified
- Strong proficiency in Xero and MS Office
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
