All Service One (ASO) is the company’s integrated after-sales business that includes Service, Part Sales, and Complete Bus Refurbishment. ASO is critical for the company’s growth – not only does it provide customers with the service that they need to keep their fleets operating at peak effectiveness, but it also is an opportunity to grow revenue. The business is complex with operations in UK, Ireland, Germany and Hong Kong and needs an operationally focused Finance leader to ensure that the sales and profit objectives are achieved in the right way.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Consolidate ASO business views.
- Provide detailed financial reports with variance analysis and KPIs.
- Offer insights into financial trends.
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting aligned with strategic goals.
- Manage rolling forecasts and highlight risks/opportunities.
Cost Management and Profitability
- Oversee cost and inventory controls.
- Analyze profitability and margins for services/products.
- Implement cost-optimization strategies.
Compliance and Internal Controls
- Lead monthly accounting close processes.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC requirements.
- Maintain strong internal controls.
Business Partnering and Leadership
- Collaborate with operational teams for financial discipline.
- Provide financial guidance on investments and contracts.
- Lead and develop the finance team.
Systems and Process Improvements
- Ensure robust financial systems and processes.
- Drive process improvements and automation.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent.
- At least 3 years PQE.
- Experience of having influenced senior leadership.
- Significant analytical skillset, including the utilisation of BI and reporting tools.
- Up to date computer skills including MS Office and advanced Excel skills.
