Due to continued growth, we have a requirement to increase our engine consultancy team with 3 powerplant consultants. These roles will manage a variety of aircraft engine projects on behalf of WAML’s customer, which require a high level of technical and commercial industry understanding.
Suitable candidates should demonstrate good transferable experience, be confident in face-to-face communications and have an analytical approach to achieve the best results.
Responsibilities
- Act as a virtual powerplant support for airline/lessor clients.
- Shop Visit Management
- Table/Physical Piece Part Inspection
- Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) / Engine Condition Monitoring (ECM) analysis.
- Invoice Review
- MRO Contract Negotiation and Selection
- Engine Transition Management
- Technical Records Due Diligence
- Engine Physical Inspection/External Parts Inventory
- Borescope Inspection Overview and Analysis
- MPA/Test Cell Run Overview and Analysis
- Lease Contract Review, Interpretation and Negotiation
- Attendance at OEM technical conferences.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous experience in a powerplant focused role is essential.
- Degree qualified preferred.
- Technical knowledge across CFM, P&W, GE, IAE & PR products.
- A desire to further increase their understanding of technical and commercial engineering and financial principles relating to aero engine management.
- Computer literate and proficient with MS Office products.
- Able to work at our Bridgend office in UK or remotely across UK/Europe/USA.
- International travel at short notice.
