An established Boutique Wealth Management firm specializing in Ultra High Net Worth and Investment Management.
The Role:
The Paraplanner will support a team of Wealth Managers in managing HNW/UHNW client portfolios and assisting in the growth of the business while providing a high level of client service and support.
The Paraplanner will offer financial planning support to the team while maintaining client relationships. Responsibilities include:
- Preparation and implementation of recommendations.
- Preparing balance sheets for client portfolios.
- Creation and maintenance of new and existing client files.
- CGT calculations and various client reporting requirements.
- Monitoring client accounts to ensure compliance with guidelines and updating as necessary.
The Paraplanner will have significant face-to-face exposure with clients, preparing client meeting summary documents and recommendations. Prior to client meetings, they will obtain information to create cash flow plans and follow up for the return of documentation. They will gather relevant review documents and review reports required for meetings.
Additionally, the Paraplanner will run daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports on interval systems, ensuring any irregularities are inspected and resolved, and work with platform and service providers as required.
The Candidate:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Paraplanner/Paraplanning/Financial Planning support role within Wealth Management, with knowledge of pensions and trust work.
Candidates should be working towards Level Diploma 4 qualification if not already achieved.
A good attitude, ability to learn quickly, and a strong work ethic are vital for this role. Strong written and verbal communication skills, decision-making abilities, and attention to detail are very important. The ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, is essential.
